Privacy Policy

Spotonix, Inc. (“Spotonix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit spotonix.com (the “Site”) and use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Email address — when you download our whitepaper, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us through forms
  • Name and contact information — when you schedule a meeting through our booking tool (HubSpot Meetings)
  • Any information you voluntarily include in emails or form submissions

Information collected automatically

  • Page views and site usage — collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies) and Google Analytics 4 (uses cookies; pseudonymous, not linked to your name or email)
  • HubSpot tracking cookie (hubspotutk) — tracks which pages you visit on our Site. This cookie is set by HubSpot's tracking script and is linked to your contact record only after you submit a form with your email
  • UTM parameters — if you arrive via a link with UTM tracking parameters (e.g., from a LinkedIn post or email campaign), we store the source, medium, and campaign in your browser's localStorage to understand how you found us
  • Browser and device type — collected anonymously by Cloudflare for aggregate analytics (not linked to individuals)

Information we do NOT collect

  • We do not use advertising trackers, ad networks, or retargeting pixels
  • We do not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking
  • We do not collect payment information through the Site
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individuals

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Whitepaper downloads — to deliver the whitepaper content and follow up if relevant to your interests
  • Newsletter — to send periodic updates about Spotonix, composable BI, and related topics
  • Meeting scheduling — to coordinate product demos and conversations
  • Site analytics — to understand which pages are most useful, how visitors navigate the site, and which content drives engagement (aggregated, not individual)
  • Attribution — to understand which channels (LinkedIn, email, press) drive interest so we can focus on what works

  • spotonix_landing_page — which page you first landed on
  • spotonix_first_visit — timestamp of your first visit
  • spotonix_wp_unlocked — whether you've submitted the whitepaper form (so you don't have to re-enter your email)

5. Data Retention

  • Page view data — Cloudflare retains aggregate analytics data; HubSpot retains per-contact page history
